Giving Myself Grace When Life Gets Full

Welcome back to Faith Friday, and welcome to Day 15 of the 30-Day Podcasting Challenge.
I can’t believe we’re already halfway through.

Before we dive in, I just want to say thank you.
Truly.

For everyone who has tuned in, downloaded episodes, and shared them… I’m so grateful.
This little community means so much to me, and sharing this journey with you has been such a blessing.

Connecting to Yesterday

If you were here yesterday for Thought Shift Thursday, we talked about perfectionism and all-or-nothing thinking, and how those patterns make it hard to give ourselves grace.

Today, we’re building on that from a faith perspective.

My Real-Life Week

These past few weeks have been a lot.

I’ve been preparing my wardrobe, getting ready for a photoshoot, updating my home, organizing, and building systems for my business.
All of that has been good… but it also meant I fell behind on my Healing Journey homework.

And once you’re behind, catching up can feel almost impossible — just like we talked about yesterday.

So I had to choose grace.
I had to ask myself:

“What can I realistically do right now to stay connected to God?”

For me, that looked like picking up Becoming Myself by Stasi Eldredge.
It has been such a moving and insightful book in this season.

It also looked like worshiping in the shower, letting music play while I get ready, singing, dancing, reading a short devotional — just finding ways that fit my real life right now.

Faith in Real Life

I want you to know this:

Faith does not have to be perfect to be real.

It doesn’t have to be long.
It doesn’t have to be quiet.
It doesn’t have to be structured or polished.

If your week with God looks like…

• whispered prayers in the car
• one comforting scripture before bed
• worship music as you get dressed
• or just pausing to breathe and say, “Lord, be with me”

…that is still worship.

Dancing is worship.
Singing is worship.
Stillness is worship.
God meets us right where we are.

This Season Can Be Hard

I also want to acknowledge that this season is very difficult for many people.
Holidays can bring up grief, loneliness, overwhelm, and emotional memories.

This is the time to offer yourself extra grace… and also check on someone who might be carrying something quietly.

Not everyone has family to visit.
Some people have lost loved ones.
Some feel alone even in a room full of people.

Your presence matters more than you know.

Faith + Prayer Resources

If you ever need prayer, want someone to stand with you in faith, or just need worship around you, here are some helpful places:

HisRadio.com – offers live phone prayer. You may wait for a moment, but someone will pray with you.
KLove.com
Air1.com
WayFM.com
NGENRadio.com
WayLoud.rocks

These are Christian radio stations, and most of them also have prayer walls where you can submit prayer requests or pray for others.
It’s a simple way to feel connected spiritually.

And if you or someone you know is struggling emotionally, please remember:

Call 988.
It’s like 911 for emotional or mental health support.
Someone is available 24/7.

Reflection Questions

Take a moment this week to reflect:

  1. What is one small way I can invite God into my day this week?
  2. Where do I need to offer myself the grace God already gives me?
  3. What helps me feel connected to God when life feels full or busy?
  4. What does worship look like for me in this season?
  5. How can I support someone who may be having a hard time this season — even through a simple check-in, prayer, or kind word?

Your message might be exactly what their heart needed.

Closing

Thank you again for being here on Day 15, for being halfway through this challenge with me, and for allowing me to share this space with you.
I’m truly grateful.

Give yourself grace today.
God already has.

And as you receive that grace, let it spill over into how you show up for others.
We are walking this journey together.

See you tomorrow.
